After forging himself both a solid reputation and a signature sound on the Frankfurt techno scene, Rey&Kjavik did the opposite of what most would: he veered left to avoid falling into a rut that many would disingenuously describe as a “groove”. As the Black Rock Desert was animated with the energy of Burning Man, Rey&Kjavik changed his creative output to something slower, more emotional, and more outwardly looking. Releasing frenetically since then, Rey&Kjavik uses his music to make demands of both the body and mind.
